Greetings, readers (insert warm, welcoming smile).
It occurs to me after 20-plus years of creative writing, small publications, attendance at countless writers meetings, work groups and workshops, that I should enter the mysterious world of blogging. Though fairly competent with using computers and programs, admittedly, I have struggled a bit in setting this up. I have found that the journey to the first blog is only for the strong…those who enjoy a good challenge. Surely, someone will see this post and chide me for my struggles, informing me of the very simple process to get from no blog to this first blog. And a year from now, I will do the same to a weary newcomer.
My intro should be something clever. But, again, I struggle. So, let me just share one of my favorite quotes, which has been edited a bit by yours truly. The original quote is credited to one known as Anais Nin. My version is: “We don’t see things as they are. We see things as we are.”
Thank you for reading, and may your returns be plentiful. I will do my best to ensure your visits here are time well spent.

Well, Jana; I’ve just read two of your blogs and I am pleased to say that this is a great way to get out there and be heard (read). Continue writing, blogging, and I will be checking with you later on to see where this takes you. Good luck!
Thank you! I’ve got a lot of practicing to do to learn all about this. Until then – we’ll keep writing 🙂
